Response times

Messages are read on business days, Brazil time, and answered in the order received — usually within two business days, longer after public holidays. Data requests under Brazilian or European data protection law are answered within the statutory deadline set out in the privacy policy.

What to include

• The email address used at purchase, if the message concerns an order.
• The order or transaction reference from the payment receipt.
• The address of the page in question, for anything to do with published content.
• A short description of what happened, including any error text shown on screen.

Payment card numbers, bank details and identity documents should never be sent by email. They are not needed for any request handled at this address.

Common requests

• Access problems with a purchased publication, including a link that has expired or failed to arrive.
• Billing questions: what a charge covers, receipts, and duplicate charges.
• Refund requests under the refund policy.
• Data requests: access, correction, deletion or portability of personal data.
• Citation requests: the full reference behind a passage in an article.

Corrections

Notice of an error — a misattributed study, a misstated figure, a finding described more strongly than its source supports — should quote the passage and give the page address. Substantive corrections are made on the page with a dated note describing the change, as set out in the editorial policy.

What this address does not handle

• Consultations, assessments or recommendations about any individual's work, income or finances. None are provided at any price.
• Legal, medical, financial or psychological advice of any kind.
• Emergencies. This is a publisher with no crisis capability; urgent situations require local emergency services.
• Guest articles, sponsored placements, link exchanges and paid coverage, none of which are accepted.
• Requests to publish a personal account or experience. No such material is published.
