Daywork is a publisher. Everything on this site is general information about published research, written for readers interested in the subject, and it carries no professional standing of any kind.
Not professional advice
Nothing published here is legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological, career or employment advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship between Daywork and any reader. Articles describe studies conducted by other people on samples of other people. They are not an assessment of any individual situation and cannot be one, since Daywork knows nothing about the situation of anyone reading.
Decisions with consequences deserve a qualified professional who can examine the specifics: a lawyer, an accountant, a licensed clinician, a registered adviser. This site is not a substitute for any of them.
Not a crisis service
Daywork has no capacity to respond to urgent situations. Emergencies — medical, psychological or otherwise — require local emergency services or the relevant local crisis line, which will be listed by the public health authority of the country in question. The support address is monitored on business days only and is not a route to help of that kind.
No assurance of accuracy
Research is revised, superseded and sometimes retracted. Material is published in good faith and checked against the original sources at the time of writing, but no warranty is given that every statement remains accurate later, that a described study has not since been challenged, or that a cited source has not been corrected. Where an error is identified it is fixed on the page with a dated note, as described in the editorial policy.
External links point to material controlled by other people. Daywork is not responsible for that material and does not endorse it by linking.
No claim of results
Nothing on this site is offered as a method, system, formula, protocol or procedure, and no outcome is promised to anyone who reads it. There are no typical results here because there are no results here — only descriptions of research findings, at the scope the original studies support.
No testimonials
Daywork does not publish, quote, collect or solicit testimonials, reviews, endorsements, success stories or before-and-after accounts, including anonymised ones. Nothing on this site represents the experience of a reader or a customer, and nothing should be read as a representation of what anyone experienced.
No assumption about the reader
Articles are written in the third person about research. They do not assume, assert or imply anything about the work, income, household, health or circumstances of any reader, and they are not written to be recognised as a description of anyone's situation. Any sentence on this site that appears to assume otherwise is an error and should be reported to support@daywork.pro.
Audience
This site is intended for adults aged 18 or over. It is not directed at minors and no material here is suitable for one.
